WILLAMSPORT, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's men's and women's swimming teams were in Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) action on Saturday afternoon. The women fell 139-114, while the men were dropped by the Warriors by a 134-93 margin. The LVC women now sit at 1-4, 1-3 MAC, while the men are also 1-4, 1-3 MAC.
 
In the 200-yard butterfly, Erika Schell was victorious with a time of 2:31.59, while Cayla Sydow won the 200-yard backstroke after touching the wall at 2:29.68 and her teammate, Kaitlyn Welch, took second at 2:34.10. Welch then placed first in the 200-yard individual medley with a mark of 1:08.78.
 
On the men's side, Kyle Kingsbury won the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.51 and Isaac Dimisa was second at 25.22. I. Dimisa narrowly missed out on first place in the 100-yard freestyle and took second at 56.13 after finishing just 0.20 seconds from first. A team of Charlie Besjak, Derek Sauder, Kurt Harnish, and Sam Bjordahl won the 200-yard freestyle relay with a mark of 1:48.71.
 
LVC returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 18, when the Dutchmen host Hood College at 1 p.m. in LVC's 2019-20 home finale. The meet will also serve as the Dutchmen's Senior Day and Pink Meet.
