ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's women's tennis team dropped a hard-fought contest 6-3 to Scranton on Sunday afternoon at Shankroff Tennis Center.
The doubles matches were all closely contested but Scranton would come out with two of the three victories. The #3 doubles pair of
Meridyth Sanders and
Zoe Birch would secure the lone doubles victory 8-6.
The Dutchmen women would go 2-4 in singles play on the day. Madison Honrade picked up a victory in the #2 singles slot. Honrade won the first set 7-6 (7-5) and was winning the second set 3-1 before her opponent had to withdraw. Sanders picked up another victory, this time at the #4 singles spot in straight sets 6-4, 6-2.
