How It Happened
RADNOR, Pa. – The Cabrini Cavaliers outscored the Lebanon Valley Flying Dutchmen 13-5 on Wednesday afternoon's non-conference matchup. Cabrini jumped to 20-15, while LVC dropped to 16-19.
Cabrini was the first out of the gates after hitting a homerun and earning two RBI. The Cavaliers scored two more times in the bottom of the third making it a 6-0 game. It wasn't until the top of the fourth when
Rylee Shockley hit a homerun, and
Lexi Windsor hit a homerun scoring
Kate Whelski, and the Dutchmen were within three. Cabrini continued to have a dominant offense and scored five more runs giving the Cavaliers an 11-3 lead.
LVC scored two more runs in the top of the fifth, but the Cavaliers answered back with two. Both teams stayed locked up for the rest of the game and Cabrini went on to win 13-5.

How It Happened
Lebanon Valley had a strong finish, which led to a 9-5 victory in game two of the double header against the Cabrini Cavaliers. LVC advanced to 17-19, and Cabrini fell to 20-16.
The Cavaliers much like the first game scored the first two runs. LVC, however, had a better defensive game and kept Cabrini at bay. In the top of the fourth,
Savannah Toth crossed home and brought LVC within one. Lebanon Valley kept the momentum and when Toth doubled down to center field and scored
Rylee Shockley, and then
Kate Whelski was up next and hit a homerun and scored Toth. The Dutchmen now led 4-2. The Cavaliers answered back with two homeruns of their own and scored three runs taking back the lead, 5-4.
LVC took control of the game in the top of the sixth after
Alison Noga plated
Kristi Langhans, and Shockley doubled to center field scoring
Annie McClain and Noga. The Dutchmen kept the Cavaliers from scoring in the bottom of the sixth, and scored two more runs in the top of the seventh, and Lebanon Valley went on to win 9-5.
