Lebanon Valley 9, Penn State Behrend 0
 
HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Lebanon Valley finished off its spring break trip in style, shutting out Penn State Behrend 9-0 on Thursday afternoon. The Flying Dutchmen jumped to 2-5, while the Lions fell to 1-12.
 
Melanie Haas and Emily Wilczek cruised in No. 1 doubles action 8-2, as did Rachel Duong and Elizabeth Drda in No. 2 doubles play by a score of 8-1. In No. 3 singles, Abigail Yearick and Leah Wingert took down Emily Hood and Maggie Donley 8-1 as well.
 
LVC also dominated in singles action and picked up six more wins. Haas cruised to a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Jada Donatien in No. 1 singles play, followed by a 6-3, 6-2 win for Duong over Hadley Howell in No. 2 singles action. Wilczek picked up a 6-3, 6-2 victory in No. 3 singles play and Drda earned a 6-1, 6-2 win over Emily Hood in No. 4 singles. Zoe Birch was victorious in No. 5 singles 6-2, 6-0, and Kaitlyn Welch won 6-3, 6-1 over Donley in No. 6 singles play.
 
The Dutchmen will head back to Annville with a 2-1 spring-break record and will host Eastern University on Thursday, March 21st in LVC's spring home opener at 3 p.m.
