HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Lebanon Valley's women's tennis squad pick up its first victory of the young spring season with a 6-3 win over Saint Vincent on Tuesday in the Flying Dutchmen's spring-break portion of their schedule.
 
Elizabeth Drda and Rachel Duong were victorious in No.2 doubles action 8-2 for LVC. 
 
Melanie Haas won a tight No. 1 singles match 6-1, 1-6, 10-7 and then Rachel Duong won at No. 2 doubles by a 6-4, 6-0 score. In No. 3 doubles, Emily Wilczek double bageled her opponent 6-0, 6-0, Drda edged the Bearcars' Livia Wentworth 4-6, 7-5, 10-6.
 
In No. 5 singles, Zoe Birch came away with a 6-4, 6-2 straight-set win and then Leah Wingert earned a win in No. 6 singles action at 6-4, 6-0.
 
LVC wraps up spring-break action on Thursday when the Dutchmen battle Penn State Behrend at Hilton Head High School at 12:15 p.m.
