Annville, Pa. – In game one of Lebanon Valley's homeopening double header, LVC dropped a close 5-3 matchup with MAC Commonwealth opponent Alvernia. The Dutchman trailed the whole game but put together a late rally that fell just short.

The Golden Wolves exploded for three runs in the top of the fourth inning to extend their lead to five runs. LVC answered in the bottom of the inning as Savannah Toth scored an unearned run off an error by Alvernia.

In the seventh inning, Kate Whelski singled, which scored Alison Noga and moved Annie McClain to third. Toth was next to bat and singled to center field, allowing McClain to score. This brought the Dutchmen within two runs, but the Golden Wolves later hung on for the narrow victory.
