ANNVILLE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's football program will once again host its annual offensive line player clinic on campus this summer. LVC will host the event for one day only on Sunday, June 23.
The event is for high school players entering grades 9-12 for the upcoming 2019-20 academic year and will consist of morning and afternoon sessions with lunch and film study breaking up the action on the field. Attendees need only bring their cleats, sneakers or slides to wear to lunch, and their helmet. T-shirts will be provided to all registered players.
The morning session will begin at 9 a.m. and will focus on schemes, blocking technique, and progression before the lunch break at 12 p.m. The afternoon session will emphasize pass pro drills and protection. There will also be offensive line competitions to culminate the day.
The clinic, held at Arnold Field, will feature instruction from offensive line coaches from multiple NCAA Divisions, as well as top high school offensive line coaches. Students will remain in groups at designated locations while coaches rotate after each session so players are exposed to the strengths of every staff member. Tight ends will also have breakout sessions specific to their position.
