RADNOR, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley swim team competed against Cabrini on Friday evening. The women's team fell 133-71 while the men also came up short falling to the Cavaliers by a 120-55 mark.
COMPLETE RESULTS
On the women's side, the Dutchmen picked up two individual victories.
Erika Schell took first place in the 100-yard fly, touching the wall in 1:05.83.
Cayla Sydow was the runner-up in the event with a finish of 1:09.37. In the 100-yard backstroke, it was
Kaitlyn Welch picking up the victory finishing with a time of 1:09.28, winning the event by .03 seconds.
For the men, LVC had two individual wins and a relay victory on the evening.
Derek Sauder picked up a win in the 500-yard free with a time of 6:45.78. In the 100-yard breaststroke,
DJ Gorenberg touched the wall first, finishing with a time of 1:33.37. The Dutchmen were victorious in the 200-yard free relay as the team of
Gabe Dimisa,
Noah Miccio,
Isaac Dimisa, and
Kyle Kingsbury finished in 1:38.21.
The Dutchmen are back in the pool tomorrow in their first home match of the season. The Dutchmen will host Stevenson at 1 p.m. in the Arnold Sports Center.
