MADISON, N.J. – The Lebanon Valley swim team competed against FDU-Florham on Saturday afternoon. The women's squad came up just short falling 103-98 while the men were edged 107-79 on the day.

On the women's side, the Dutchmen had one MAC qualifying time, three individual victories, and a first place finish in the 400-yard medley relay.
Courtney Betsock qualified for MAC's in the 200 IM with a time of 2:26.50. Betsock also was victorious in the 100-yard breaststroke when she touched the wall in 1:19.89. Betsock was also a member of the 400-yard medley relay team that took first place, joined by
Kaitlyn Welch,
Erika Schell, and
Juna Currie, with a time of 4:38.02, more than nine seconds clear of the second place group. Schell had a strong day as she also picked up wins in the 50-yard free at 26.71 and the 100-yard fly with a time of 1:06.64.
For the men, LVC had a pair of individual wins on the day while also having a first and second place relay finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay.
Kyle Kingsbury picked up a win for the men in the 50-yard free, finishing with a time of 23.65.
Sam Bjordahl also was a winner on the day with a first-place result in the 100-yard fly with a time of 1:00.26. The first place relay squad consisted of
Gabe Dimisa,
Noah Miccio,
Kyle Kingsbury, and
Dain Vallie with a time of 3:45.27 while the second place team of
Isaac Dimisa,
Sam Bjordahl,
Andrew Benson, and
Kyle Echterling finished at 3:55.27 for the Dutchmen.
The Dutchmen return to action in a few weeks when they travel to take on Cabrini University on Friday, December 6, in Radnor, Pa.
