How It Happened
Lebanon Valley racked up six extra-base hits in a 7-1 victory over King's in the opening game of a non-conference doubleheader at LVC Softball Park on Tuesday afternoon, April 24.

Kate Whelski led the charge at the plate with three doubles and a game-high three RBI, while Robin Feaster added a pair of extra-base knocks. Lexi Windsor also turned in one of her top performances of the spring in allowing just the lone run in a complete-game victory.

Tianna Yanoscak got things started when her double to left center field drove in Jen Kaufman in the bottom of the third. Whelski was just getting started when her double scored Yanoscak and Kristi Langhans drove in a pair with a single to right center field. Before the frame was through, Feaster's double brought home Mackenzie Hasenauer to make it 5-0 after three.

After the Monarchs (18-17) got on the board with a solo shot in the fourth, LVC (16-11) answered with a crooked number in the bottom of the stanza when another Whelski double plated Annie McClain and Yanoscak.

Whelski also had a hand in sealing the win in the field when the game's final three outs came courtesy of her in the top of the seventh.

How It Happened
Robin Feaster's RBI double in the bottom of the seventh inning gave Lebanon Valley a 7-6 victory over King's in game two of a non-conference doubleheader at LVC Softball Park, sealing the sweep for the Flying Dutchmen.

After the Monarchs (18-18) erased a two-run deficit in the top of the seventh, Tianna Yanoscak led off the bottom half with a single to shallow center field before Madison Watson followed with a bloop single to right field. With the count full, Feaster roped a double deep to left field to bring Yanoscak home and end the game.

Kate Whelski's hot day at the plate continued when she got the scoring going with a line shot of a home run down the left field line in the bottom of the first that drove in Annie McClain and Savannah Toth in the process.

After King's cut the deficit to one by scoring two in the top of the third, Toth halted the visitors' momentum with a solo shot to left center field in the bottom of the stanza. She added another RBI with a sacrifice fly to deep center field in the bottom of the sixth that plated Feaster from third base.
