LVC's fast start was a critical part of today's victory. The Dutchmen jumped out to a 6-0 lead, spanning from 24:17 to 14:37. Makenzie Kelley kicked things off with a goal, followed by Emma Jones' tally at 23:35. Less than a minute later, Veronica Venezia made it 3-0 LVC, and Jones followed with her second of the game at 20:42. Kirsten Bannan then netted her first of the contest, and Veronica John netted her first of the game and fourth of the season at 14:37.

Elizabethtown was able to stop the bleeding with back-to-back scores at 14:05 and 9:32, but Bannan netted her second of the game at 3:16 to put LVC ahead by five at 7-2. The Blue Jays found the back of the net with just over a minute left in the first, but the Dutchmen still went into halftime with a comfortable 7-3 advantage.

In the second, after E-Town made it 7-4 with a score at 26:30, The Dutchmen netted three straight, included one from Venezia and a pair by Jones, to go ahead by six at 10-4 with 20:25 left in the game. Late in the game, the Blue Jays made it close thanks to a 4-1 run and came to within three at 12-9 with 3:43 remaining, but Jones scored her fifth of the game off an assist from Venezia with 35 seconds to go, putting the game out of reach and resulting in the 13-9 LVC win.
