How It Happened
HERSHEY, Pa. – Lebanon Valley's women's ice hockey team dropped a 6-0 contest to No. 3 Elmira on Sunday afternoon in UCHC action. The Dutchmen now sit at 2-13-2, 1-8-1 UCHC, while the Soaring Eagles jumped to 16-2-1, 10-0-0 UCHC.

Similar to the start of last evening's game, LVC hung tough with Elmira in the first half of the opening period, but the Soaring Eagles broke through at 11:32 when Maddy Jerolman scored. With 44 seconds remaining in the first, Maddie Evangelous found the back of the net. The Dutchmen limited Elmira's chances and went into the first intermission down by just a pair of goals.

A big second period for the Soaring Eagles eventually put the game away, despite Jill Moffatt and the Dutchmen's defense showing improvement. Elmira netted four goals in the second period, including a short-handed score and two of its goals came within 13 seconds of each other.

In the third period, LVC kept Elmira's potent offense off the scoreboard and the Dutchmen generate several scoring opportunities, but Elizabeth Hanson stopped all nine shots she saw en route to the Soaring Eagles' 6-0 victory.

Inside the Numbers
 - Moffatt ended with 66 saves for LVC, including 26 in the first period.
 - Nikki Lloyd registered three shots on goal, while Amy Templeman added a pair.
 - Chloe Glass won six faceoffs on the day and Emma Stillwaggon was awarded five.
