How It Happened
HERSHEY, Pa. – Lebanon Valley picked up its second win against Chatham in as many nights with a 7-0 shutout-victory over the Cougars at the 2018 Dutchmen Outdoor Classic. LVC, winners of three straight, improved to 8-7-1, 7-2-2 UCHC, while Chatham fell to 1-15-3, 1-10-0 UCHC.
The Dutchmen got things going early on when

Kevin Van Bokkelen and
Travis Acker, and later in the first, at 14:50, Sneath added his second score of the period thanks to assists from
Zak Sheikh and Karas. The Dutchmen's dominant opening period came to an end with LVC out in front by three scores.
In the second,
Cole Hepler stole the show with two short-handed goals. His first came 2:03 into the period on a breakaway, and he later followed it up with another breakaway-tally.
Bryan Hovanec, the reigning MAC and UCHC Player of the Week, scored a goal at 10:57 in between Hepler's two shorties. When the entertaining middle period came to an end, LVC was up 6-0.
A chippy second period carried over into the third, a period that saw 11 total penalties and two game misconducts, one from each team. At the 12-minute mark,
