ANNVILLE, Pa. – After guiding Lebanon Valley to a critical 7-6 win over UCHC opponent Neumann, Bryan Hovanec has been named the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Offensive Player of the Week.

The junior netted five goals in the Dutchmen's wild one-goal win over the Knights on Saturday. He tallied four goals in the second period alone, scoring 27 seconds in on the power play, followed by another score at the 3:34 mark. He then recorded the hat trick on another PP-goal at 10:34 mark, and added a third man-advantage goal at 15:33. In the third period, with the game knotted at 6-6, Hovanec scored the game-winner with just 1:16 remaining in the contest.

LVC is back in action on Friday when the Dutchmen travel to take on Chatham at 7 p.m.
