How It Happened
DALLAS, Pa. – Two second-half goals propelled Lebanon Valley's men's soccer team to a 2-0 victory over Misericordia on Wednesday night in non-conference action. The Dutchmen earned their first win of season and moved to 1-1, while the Cougars dropped to 0-3.
After neither team was able to score in the first half, LVC broke through early on in the second when
Jake Kline netted his first goal of the season in the 48th minute to break the 0-0 tie and give the Dutchmen a 1-0 advantage.
Just over 11 minutes later, in the 59th minute,
Rob Hanosek gave LVC some breathing room when he found the back of the net off an assist from
Tyler Skye to increase the lead to 2-0. From there, LVC held Misericordia's offense in check, en route to the 2-0 victory.
