How It Happened
CORTLAND, N.Y. – Lebanon Valley wrapped up action at the Cortland Red Dragon Classic by splitting a pair of matches for the second-consecutive day. The Dutchmen, now 2-2, blanked Alfred 3-0 before falling to Nazareth in the team's final match in N.Y.

Alfred Match
In LVC's win over the Saxons, the Dutchmen cruised, thanks to several players having an impressive match.
Jess Attieh led in kills with 11, while
Amber Deshong added six kills on 11 attempts.
Reina Eckman chipped in five kills on nine attempts while adding three block assists.
Adrianna Lattanzi dug out five balls and added eight kills for LVC and
Jensen Burnheimer posted 32 assists in the Dutchmen's sweep.
In the win, LVC totaled 37 kills for a .327 hitting percentage.
Nazareth Match
In the Dutchmen's match with the Golden Flyers, each set was tight and after LVC took the first one 26-24, Nazareth rattled off three-consecutive set wins at 25-22, 27-25, and 28-26 in a close match.
LVC was again led by Attieh, who had 13 kills and two solo blocks.
Jayna Class was solid as well, registering 13 kills, three service aces, and four digs.
Amanda Sides was impressive with 12 kills, while
Kaitlyn Reed dug out 15 balls.
Emily Smeltz recorded 20 digs and
Abbey Barnhart 15 digs. Burnheimer was solid again, serving up three aces while notching 48 assists.
Attieh Named to All-Tournament Team
For her efforts in the last four matches, Attieh earned All-Tournament Team status.
Who's Next?
MAC Commonwealth action opens up next for LVC when the Dutchmen hit the road for Chester, Pa. to take on Widener on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
