How It Happened
Lebanon Valley dropped a 4-1 heartbreaker to Gettysburg in walk-off fashion in the opening contest of a non-conference doubleheader at Bobby Jones Field on Tuesday afternoon.

With the score tied 1-1 and one away in the bottom of the seventh inning, the Bullets' Sam Misurell homered to left center field, driving in Sarahrose Jonik and Genie Lavanant from second and first base, respectively, and clinching the come-from-behind victory for the home team (18-8-1).

The Flying Dutchmen (17-8) struck first when Lexi Windsor's single through the left side brought Rayanne Hawk across after she led off the top of the third with a walk before being moved to second base thanks to a sacrifice bunt by Annie McClain.

After being shut down by LVC starter Maddie Abbot for much of the afternoon, Gettysburg drew even with the visitors when Jamie Abell's single to right field allowed Nicole Farese to score from second base.

Inside the Circle
- Maddie Abbot got the start for LVC and suffered just her third loss of the spring. She was solid in giving up just five hits and four runs, with the bulk of those tallies coming on a game-ending three-run homer. The freshman walked just one batter and struck out eight.
- Aileen Reilly earned her eighth victory of the season for Gettysburg. She scattered five hits and surrendered just one run and a pair of walks to go along with four strikeouts in seven innings of work.

At the Plate

How It Happened
Lebanon Valley suffered its second close loss in the late innings in as many outings when the team dropped a 3-2 decision to Gettysburg in the nightcap of a non-conference doubleheader at Bobby Jones Field on Tuesday afternoon.

Trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the sixth stanza, the Bullets (19-8-1) took advantage of a pair of LVC errors, while using a lead-off double and a sacrifice fly to score a pair of runs, both of which were unearned, and take the lead for the first time in game two.

The Flying Dutchmen (17-9) got on the board first in the top of the third when Elaine Gross laced a double to right center field, plating Cheyanne Brown and Annie McClain in the process after Brown and McClain led off the frame with back-to-back singles.

Gettysburg cut the deficit in half in the bottom of the third when Nicole Farese came across from third base thanks to an LVC throwing error after she had moved into scoring position on a wild pitch and passed ball.

Inside the Circle
- Despite taking the loss, Lexi Windsor was outstanding for LVC. She allowed just four hits and two walks to go along with one strikeout while allowing no earned runs in six innings of work.
- Morgan Clauser picked up her 11th win of the year for Gettysburg despite allowing nine hits and a pair of runs. She struck out six batters and walked one in game two.

At the Plate
- Annie McClain was perfect at the dish and finished 4-4 with four singles and a run scored.
- Elaine Gross' two-RBI double in the third inning was the team's lone extra-base hit.
- Meredith Taylor was the only Gettysburg player to have a multi-hit game. Her sixth-inning double was also the team's only extra-base knock.
