How It Happened
Lebanon Valley erased an early 3-0 deficit to take game one of a non-conference doubleheader at Haverford by a 7-4 margin on Thursday afternoon.

Rachel Wolfson put the Flying Dutchmen (8-3) in a hole when she hit a three-run blast over the left-field fence in the bottom of the third inning. LVC starter Maddie Abbot regained control by getting three straight batters to pop out to end the frame.

The Dutchmen put together a two-out rally to score a pair of runs in the top of the fifth, with Annie McClain getting things started with a walk before stealing a base and plating on a Haveford error. Savannah Toth's ensuing single to right center scored Lexi Windsor from third, cutting the deficit to one.

LVC kept rolling in the top of the sixth when Jasmine Copeland's double to right-center field brought Haley Christensen and Robin Feaster across, giving the visitors their first lead of the day. The Fords' second error of the frame allowed Copeland to score and Lebanon Valley took a 7-3 advantage into the seventh.
