How It Happened
READING, Pa. – Lebanon Valley women's soccer team was defeated by Penn State Harrisburg 2-0 in the First Round of the ECAC Championship Tournament at the campus of Albright College. The Dutchmen's season ended at 9-7-3, while the Lions advanced to tomorrow's Second Round against the winner of Juniata and Albright.

Harrisburg set the tone early and got on the board just seven minutes in when Kristen Stark collected the initial shot and scored off a shot that went off the post and into the back of the net. The match remained scoreless for the rest of the half, and the Lions went into halftime with just a one-goal advantage.

Just under eight minutes into the second, Stark netted her second of the game and 15th of the season off an assist from Raquel Grace as Grace delivered a ball through the middle and Stark proceeded to beat Emma Strickler on a one-v-one situation. Despite holding a sizable advantage in shots, the Dutchmen were unable to get one past Harrisburg's defense.
