– Lebanon Valley's men's and women's swim teams were in action at fellow Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) program King's (Pa.) on Friday night, Nov. 10. The men dropped a 123-73 decision to the home team and the women fell 109-62 to the Monarchs.

The Flying Dutchmen opened the meet with the foursome of Kaitlyn Welch, Courtney Betsock, Erika Schell, and Julianna Currie combining for a runner-up finish in the 200y medley relay thanks to a time of 2:02.72.

Betsock turned in a strong outing in the 50y free by swimming a 26.85 in the event, good enough for a second-place finish and just .08 seconds shy of the top time by King's Melina Good. Schell and Madison Martin posted MAC-qualifying times in the 400y IM, as did Betsock in the 100y back thanks to a time of 1:14.51 that was good enough to earn her a victory.

The group of Lauren Mays, Alexis Morace, Casey Burke, and Carolyn Enigk wrapped up the meet by combining to touch in 1:57.65 in the 200y free relay.

The men opened competition with Andrew Martz, Chris Kurtz, Gabe Dimisa, and Kurt Harnish teaming up for a 1:59.28 in the 200y medley relay before Kurtz posted a MAC-qualifying time of 1:58.95 in the 200y free.

Ian Lloyd won the 400y IM in impressive fashion, as his time of 4:25.84 was nearly five seconds faster than the runner-up effort. He was also victorious in the 100y back after edging out Jason Yerger from King's by .44 seconds in a tight race when he touched in 57.66.

Jacob Ilgenfritz turned in a MAC-worthy time of 1:03.42 in the 100y fly and Kurtz came home second in the 500y free thanks to a time of 5:36.08. Dimisa, Charlie Besjak, Harnish, and Martz capped the meet by combining to swim a 1:45.70 in the 200y free relay.
