How It Happened
FREDERICK, Md. – Lebanon Valley rolled over Hood 3-0 in MAC Commonwealth volleyball action on Tuesday night. The Dutchmen stayed undefeated in conference play and improved to 5-4, 2-0, while the Blazers fell to 5-4, 1-1.
In the opening set, LVC jumped out to an 11-3 lead, but saw Hood rattle off four in a row to make it an 11-7 set. The Blazers kept battling and eventually tied the set at 14-14. From there, the set remained a back-and-forth affair as it was tied at 24-24, however two consecutive service aces from
Morgan Webb clinched the set at 26-24 for the Dutchmen.
LVC took control of the match in the second set and led 13-7, but the Blazers hung in the set and came to within four at 15-11. The Dutchmen, however, held onto the lead for the rest of the set and took the second 25-18. As a team, LVC hit at a .345 clip in the middle set.
The third and final set was the easiest for LVC, as the Dutchmen dominated the set and the closest the Blazers came was four points, but LVC went on to take the set comfortably at 25-14.

Jess Attieh was a force to be reckoned with tonight, going for 11 kills, five blocks, and five digs.
- The reigning MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week,
Greta Weidemoyer, notched nine kills, two blocks, 24 assists and nine digs for the Dutchmen.

Mackenzie Walck registered four blocks, while
Melanie Phifer dug out nine balls.
