The Flying Dutchmen (3-4) set the tone early when
Emily Johnson's RBI single allowed lead-off hitter
Sammy Bost to score from second base in the bottom of the first inning.
LVC's offense roared to life in the third. The catalyst for the crooked number came when
Cheyanne Brown hit her first collegiate home run. Back-to-back singles by Johnson and
Jordyn Miller set up
Haley Christensen for an RBI single and
Elaine Gross followed it up with an RBI single of her own to make it 4-0 through three.
The Dutchmen cushioned the lead with two more runs in the fifth, as Gross' two-out single drove in Miller and Christensen to up the advantage to 6-0 after five stanzas.
LVC pitcher
Alexa Windsor was solid and kept the Hornets (3-6) off the board through five frames. Waynesburg broke up the shutout with a run in the top of the sixth but the Dutchmen responded with a pair in the bottom of the inning thanks to Johnson's RBI groundout that plated
Kim Ortiz-Marrero and Miller's triple that allowed Bost to cap the scoring.

Alexa Windsor picked up the complete-game victory for LVC, surrendering just one run and striking out a career-high seven batters.

How It HappenedLebanon Valley scored a program-record 23 runs on 29 hits in a game highlighted by offense from both teams. The Flying Dutchmen defeated Marywood 23-13 on Friday afternoon to end their week in Clermont, Fla. on a high note.
Trailing 9-7 after five frames, LVC (4-4) exploded for eight runs in the top of the sixth inning and added eight more in the seventh to erase the early deficit best the Pacers (3-5) going away.
Lebanon Valley used four singles, two doubles, two triples, and a walk to bring eight across in the sixth before
Alexa Windsor made quick work of Marywood in the bottom of the stanza to preserve a seemingly volatile 15-9 lead.
A seventh inning that saw LVC rack up eight more runs on six singles, a double, and a triple was aided by a pair of Pacer errors.
Cheyanne Brown's bases-clearing triple put an exclamation point on the team's offensive outburst, bringing her RBI total for the game to eight.
A number of single-game program records including runs scored, hits, and total at-bats fell during the wild spring break finale for the Dutchmen.

Alexa Windsor earned her second win of the day for LVC, throwing the final five innings and allowing four earned runs on seven hits. She added three strikeouts.
- Nina Mentzer got the start for the Dutchmen and exited after two innings, while
Holly Langdon made a relief appearance in the third inning.
- Marywood's Katie Siano took the loss after allowing eight earned runs on 16 hits.
- Amanda Bridgwood and Alyssa Bavaro made relief appearances for the Pacers, combining to allow 11 earned runs and 13 hits in 1.2 innings of work.

- LVC's 23 runs scored is a single-game program record. The previous high was 22 runs scored against Washington College in 1987.
- The Dutchmen won four straight to close out their 2016 spring break trip.
