How It Happened
Lebanon Valley used a balanced attack and poise down the stretch to clinch the no. 2 seed in the upcoming MAC Commonwealth Championship Tournament with a hard-fought 76-70 victory over Lycoming on Saturday afternoon.

LVC (16-9, 10-6 MAC Commonwealth) led for more than 39 minutes and made plays in the closing moments to secure the team's fourth straight victory. The Dutchmen's last 11 points came from the charity stripe as Sam Light, Andy Orr, and Travis Conrad coolly knocked them down to keep the Warriors (16-9, 8-8 MAC Commonwealth) at bay.

The Dutchmen led by six on three occasions in the second half, the last of which came at 70-64 with 1:49 remaining. Lyco closed the deficit to two with 1:11 left to play but failed to draw any closer.

LVC held a slim 30-29 lead at the break after leading for all but 33 seconds of the first half. Lebanon Valley pulled ahead when Zach Mrozek buried a 3-ball at the 19:27 mark. Light's jumper pushed the advantage to 18-12 with 11:01 left in the first half and a jumper by Orr made it 28-22 at the 4:15 mark.

The Warriors closed out the half on a 7-2 run to make it a one-point game at the break.

It Was Over When…
It came down to the very end as it took a Sam Light defensive rebound off a Willie Kee miss with 11 seconds left, absorbed a Lycoming foul, and calmly sank a pair of free throws on the other end to score the game's final points and clinch the no. 2 seed for LVC.

Senior Day
