How It HappenedWILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Lebanon Valley erased a 13-point halftime deficit to tie Lycoming in the fourth quarter, but the Warriors eventually prevailed with the 63-60 win over the Dutchmen on Saturday afternoon. LVC slipped to 10-6, 4-3 MAC Commonwealth, while Lycoming improved to 10-6, 5-3 MAC Commonwealth.
Down 39-26 at halftime, LVC began the comeback in the third quarter and started the quarter on an 11-3 run to come to within three at 42-39 with 2:24 left in the quarter. For the quarter, the Dutchmen outscored the Warriors 17-5 and was down by just one point at 44-43 heading into the fourth quarter.
LVC kept it close earlier on until Lycoming opened up a five-point advantage at 50-45 with 6:47 left. Later in the fourth, a
Rachel Kelly layup tied the contest at 52-52 with 3:46 remaining. However, Lycoming's Nicole Calella followed with a triple to put the Warriors ahead 55-52, and Lycoming held the lead for the rest of the half, as
Kiely Chaklos' 3-point attempt as time expired fell just short, giving Lycoming the narrow 63-60 win.
The Warriors were strong in the first half, leading 19-13 after the first quarter, however the Dutchmen stayed within striking distance throughout the whole half and were down by 13 at halftime.

Peyton Carper led LVC with 15 points, while
Lexie Lantz added 14 and seven rebounds.
- Chaklos finished with eight points, as did Kelly, who also had a team-high 11 boards. Kelly added a game-high four blocks.
- The Warriors' Olivia Manges led all scorers with 20 points and Jenn Grove (12) and Calella (11) were also in double figures in points.
- The Dutchmen's bench outscored Lycoming's 31-6.
