How It HappenedLebanon Valley recorded its second shutout of the season on Saturday afternoon when the Dutchmen blanked Scranton 1-0 at day one of the Joe Bochicchio Classic in Scranton. LVC stayed perfect at 3-0, while the Lady Royals fell to 1-2-2.
The game was scoreless until the 19th minute when
Teanna Shutt scored her first goal of the season off of an assist from
Sammy Bost. From there, the defense took over and
Taylor Reinhold, who was starting her first match of the season, never let Scranton beat her as the Dutchmen held on for the 1-0 shutout.

Todd Hoffard has gotten his team off on the right foot, as LVC is 3-0 to start a season for the first time since 2002.

The Joe Bochiccio Classic Comes to an EndTomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m. the Dutchmen will take on Marywood in the final day of the Joe Bochiccio Classic. It was also be the final year of the event, as scheduling conflicts in 2016 are forcing the fifth-year Classic to be ended.
