Game 1
Lebanon Valley clinched a spot in the 2015 Commonwealth Conference Championship Tournament with a 4-1 win over Hood in game one of the final doubleheader of the season on Saturday afternoon.

The victory earned the Flying Dutchmen (10-21, 7-8 CC) the tourney's #4 seed. They will host Alvernia in the opening game on Friday morning.

LVC broke a scoreless tie in the bottom of the third inning when Tessa Deardorff's RBI single to left field drove in Jasmine Dutton. Cheyanne Brown added to the advantage when her single up the middle scored Deardorff from second base and Emily Johnson's RBI single back up the middle pushed Brown across to make it 3-0 after three.

The Blazers (7-22, 4-11 CC) got on the board in the top of the fourth when they scored a single, unearned run on a Dutchmen error but Lebanon Valley added an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth when Alissa Robinson plated on Deardorff's bases-loaded walk.

Dutchmen starter Haley Neff sat down Hood 1-2-3 in the top of the seventh to seal the win and send LVC to the postseason.

Game 2
Elaine Gross' seventh-inning walk-off single to right-center field and scored Haley Neff from third base to give Lebanon Valley a Commonwealth Conference sweep of Hood with a 6-5 victory on Saturday afternoon.

Gross' two-out base knock capped the 2015 regular season for the Flying Dutchmen (11-21, 8-8 CC) and completed the come-from-behind win over the Blazers (7-23, 4-12 CC).

LVC trailed by as much as 5-1 after four and a half innings but the home team matched Hood's four-run top of the fifth by scoring four runs of its own in the bottom half. Sammy Bost's single to center field drove in Tessa Deardorff from second base, Jordyn Miller's double to left field plated Cheyanne Brown, Sammy Bost pushed across on a throwing error following Miller's extra-base knock, and Miller came around from second when Dutton doubled to center field with two outs.

The visitors got on the board first in the top of the second but the Dutchmen drew even in the bottom of the fourth when Kayla Bolinsky tug up on Dutton's two-out, sacrifice fly.
