Game 1
Short rest finally caught up to Lebanon Valley as their five-games-in-four-days season-ending slate allowed Hood to take advantage of the Flying Dutchmen's depleted bullpen and earn a 7-5 extra-inning victory in game one of the final Commonwealth Conference doubleheader of the year.

With the game tied at 5-5 in the top of the eighth inning, the Blazers (10-23, 3-17 CC) scored two runs on back-to-back bases-loaded walks to take the lead. Jonathan Harned reached base with a single to left field in the bottom of the frame but LVC (12-21, 5-15 CC) couldn't score him, giving game one to the visitors.

Trailing 2-0 in the bottom of the third, the Dutchmen grabbed the advantage when Brett Fundell hit his second home run in as many days, a three-run moonshot that just cleared the left field wall. Michael Puglisi's RBI single plated Devin Dellinger two at-bats later and Colin Albright doubled to left-center field, pushing Puglisi across and giving LVC a 5-2 advantage.

Hood added an unearned run in the sixth to draw within one before Chris Shriver's two-out single to left field drove in the game-tying tallies in the top of the seventh. Greg Orlando was hit by a pitch and Korey Johnson pinch ran for him, reaching second base with one out in the bottom of the frame but Lebanon Valley couldn't convert.

Game 2
Lebanon Valley finished off its 2015 season with a 3-1 victory over Hood in game two of the final Commonwealth Conference doubleheader of the spring on Saturday afternoon.

The Flying Dutchmen (13-21, 6-15 CC) got a great outing from starting pitcher Jason Barthold and scored a single run in the first, second, and fifth innings to earn a split with the Blazers (10-24, 3-18 CC).

The visitors appeared to be off to a fast start when lead-off man Cam Esposito doubled down the right field line and seemed to be on his way to third when Jonathan Harned relayed his throw to Zac Edwards who fired a strike to Andrew Woolley at third base to record the game's first out in impressive fashion.

After Edwards was hit by a pitch and Zach Smith walked in the bottom of the first, Brett Fundell picked up his fourth RBI of the day when he singled to left field and drove in Edwards.

Barthold sat down the Blazers 1-2-3 in the top of the next stanza and Harned's single to right field allowed Daniel Doyle to score from second base after leading off the bottom of the frame with a double to left-center.

LVC added an insurance run in the fifth when Michael Puglisi's ground ball pushed Dohner across from third base.

Hood got on the board in the top of the sixth when John Gall's single to left field plated Brooks Warrenfeltz but it wasn't enough as Barthold, Brandon Popp, and Dohner combined to secure the game's final three outs in the top of the next inning on senior day.
