How It HappenedLebanon Valley College cliched a Commonwealth Conference tournament berth with a 16-4 rout of Widener at Arnold Field.
The Dutchmen (9-5, 5-1 CC) scored 12 straight goals in the first half to build an insurmountable lead, while a tough defense limited the Pride (6-6, 3-2 CC) to only a single first-half goal and four overall.
After spotting Widener the game's opening goal, LVC scored the next 12 as 
Sam Boyce scored four of her six goals in the first half and 
Tori Kuntz added three. The run meant LVC had a 12-1 halftime lead that Widener couldn't overcome, and LVC outscored the visitors 4-3 in a running-clock second half. 
Notables- Boyce's big game took her career points total to 200. She is the third player in program history to reach the double-century plateau, joining teammate Bailey Benz and Hana Krechel '13.- LVC's success started in the midfield. The Dutchmen dominated draws 16-6, including 11-3 in the first half. In transition, LVC's midfield defense continued its clamp-down play, holding Widener to 10-of-20 on clears.
- Boyce's six goals are a season-high for a Dutchman. She has 13 straight multi-goal games, including 10 hat tricks in that span. She also added a season-high five draw controls.
- The Dutchmen had a hat trick of hat tricks - in addition to Boyce's six goals, 
Anna Pagels and 
Tori Kuntz each scored three with an assist. 
Emma Jones also had a pair of goals.

Bailey Benz tied the LVC record for career starts (67) held by Sara Vanderbogart '14.- LVC improved to 5-1 all-time against Widener, with five straight wins dating to 2011. 
Game MVPGoalkeeper 
Shelby Morris got the post-game royal treatment as the game MVP. Morris made 10 saves and allowed only four goals - including only one in the first half - off of 17 shots. She held Widener to 1-for-5 on free positions, making four saves off 8-meter attempts.
