How It HappenedLebanon Valley's 2015 home opener was spoiled by Dickinson, who used scoring runs in both halves to win 13-8 at Arnold Field Wednesday evening.
Dickinson controlled the draw all game long, and four-goal games by Maddy Siebold and Jennifer Morrissey led the Red Devils (1-0) in their season opener. Dickinson went ahead early following
Tori Kuntz's opening goal, leading 7-2 before two goals by
Sam Boyce from
Bailey Benz inside the final 1:05 made it 7-4 at the half.
The visitors used a 4-0 run early in the second half to take control of the game after LVC cut it 8-5 coming out of the break on Kuntz's second goal; a mid-half free-position goal by
Haley Patrick stopped the run and two late goals by Benz made it 13-8 at the horn.

Bailey Benz scored her 100th career goal with her first of two in the game. She joins Hana Krechel '13,
Mel Modrick '14, and teammate
Sam Boyce as the fourth 100-goal scorer in program history.
- Boyce notched a hat trick for LVC, and Kuntz also had two goals.
- Dickinson, led by Moria Mahoney's seven controls, led 14-8 on draws.
Sam Boyce had a team-high three for LVC.
- The Red Devils led 22-18 on shots. Both teams were 17-for-22 on clears.

Shelby Morris made five saves for LVC. Dickinson combined starter JoJo Auerbach (1-0, 4 saves) and Tara Cuddihy (3 saves).
