How It Happened
Four players reached the double-digit scoring mark and Lebanon Valley never trailed in an 83-74 road win over Arcadia in the team's MAC Commonwealth opener on Wednesday night.

The Flying Dutchmen (4-3, 1-0 MAC Commonwealth) got 25 points and eight rebounds from Andy Orr, while Zach Mrozek poured in a career-high 20 points. Sam Light netted 18 and Travis Conrad added 11 and eight boards.

LVC jumped out to a 6-0 lead thanks to Conrad converting a free throw following a technical foul, Mrozek knocking down a 3-ball, and Conrad finding Orr for a layup all within the game's opening two minutes.

The Knights (5-2, 0-1 MAC Commonwealth) cut the deficit to 14-13 at the 14:42 mark but Light ended the Arcadia push with a 3-pointer on LVC's next possession.

Ricky Bugg's 3-pointer with 3:08 left before the break gave the Dutchmen their largest lead of the first half at 38-29 but Arcadia used an 11-4 run over the next 2:20 to draw within two. A Conrad layup and Light's steal and score extended the advantage to 46-40 at halftime.

The Knights hung around early in the second half but a Conrad 3-ball and a Mrozek jumper on back-to-back possessions gave the Dutchmen their first double-digit lead of the night at 59-48 with 13:48 left to play.

Leading by five with 11 minutes remaining, LVC scored nine straight over a span of 2:06. Kyler Burke's jumper capped the run to make it 72-58 with nine minutes left.

Arcadia drew to within six with 1:09 remaining but solid defense kept the Knights from making a late push and Mrozek converted three free throws down the stretch to seal the victory.
