How It HappenedLebanon Valley's season came to an end after falling 1-0 to FDU-Florham in a hard-fought contest in the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Quarterfinal Round on Wednesday night.

The game's lone goal was scored by Alicia Grotyohann just over five minutes into the second half off an assist from Alicia Theoret.
LVC mustered a number of chances in the contest's final 10 minutes, including a pair of penalty corners in the 61st and 62nd, but were unable to push an attempt passed FDU-Florham goalkeeper Amy Defnet.
Rachel Gorman,
Maddie Fox, and
Kristen Garman all had decent looks at an equalizer but all three were turned away by Defnet in crunch time.
The Dutchmen were awarded five penalty corners in the game's opening 23 minutes but shots by Garman,
Lyndee Sheaffer,
