How It HappenedStevenson narrowly defeated Lebanon Valley by a 2-1 score in both teams' regular season finale on Saturday afternoon in Owings Mills, Md. The Dutchmen finished out the regular season with a 12-5, 5-3 MAC COM mark, while the Mustangs improved to 9-10, 6-2 MAC COM.
Sammy Bost got LVC on the board first in the opening half when she scored with a shot from the left side in the 34th minute and the Dutchmen went into halftime clinging to a one-goal lead.
Stevenson struck back in the second half (54th minute) when Sam Hooker scored off of a header, and the Mustangs took the lead for good in the 66th minute when Jordan Porretto scored on another Stevenson header off a free kick. The Mustangs held on for the remainder of the game and edged the Dutchmen 2-1.
Inside the Numbers - Stevenson held the edge in corners at 5-4, while
Taylor Reinhold made five saves on the day.

LVC Looks Forward to MAC TournamentThe Dutchmen are the No. 4 seed in next week's MAC Commonwealth Championship and will host the No. 5 seed on Tuesday with the time to be determined. The Winner advances to take on No. 1 Messiah on Thursday at 6 p.m.
