Box Score MADISON, N.J. - Lebanon Valley twice rallied back from deficits to capture the 31st Annual Drew University Fall Festival championship with a 3-2 victory over the hosts.

Tournament MVP Lauren Brumbach's 48th-minute goal capped a comeback by the Dutchman (2-0), who fell behind on Ranger (0-2) goals early in each half before Lyndee Sheaffer leveled each time.

Sheaffer, who scored four goals in two games at the tournament, hit in the 27th and 42nd minutes to snag the momentum back for LVC each time. Kendra Moll (2-0) made five saves, including several late stops to preserve the lead.

Brumbach assisted one of those Sheaffer goals, and also had a helper in yesterday's win over Cabrini. LVC outshot Drew 13-9, although the Rangers evened it to 7-7 in the second half, and LVC was ahead 7-4 on penalty corners.

Huma Sheikh opened the scoring with a corner tip from Bea Cannavale at 19:09, but Sheaffer equalized seven minutes later when she put back Brumbach's rebound. The Rangers' Kirby Clark opened the second half by potting Amber De Marco's leading pass 27 seconds in, but Sheaffer again knotted the game with a run into the circle off her own rebound at 41:50.

That left both sides looking for a winner, and Brumbach found it when she was left open at the top of the circle and blasted it in at 47:38. Drew put LVC on their heels for much of the rest of the game, and the Dutchmen had to kill a pair of yellow cards after going ahead. Moll was called on to make several key saves, including a two-stop sequence off a corner as LVC was a player down.

The Dutchmen will open at home Saturday, hosting Haverford at 1 p.m.
