Lebanon Valley 18, Hood 1
FREDERICK, Md. - A dominating performance by Lebanon Valley led to a 18-1 win at Hood on Saturday, led by
Hana Krechel's nine-point game and
Sam Boyce's hat trick.
The Dutchmen (7-2, 2-1 CC) held a huge 31-5 shots advantage as they blanked the Blazers (3-6, 0-3 CC) in the first half. Krechel scored three goals with six assists, one of eight Dutchmen with multi-point games. LVC scored the first 13 goals of the game.
Mel Modrick,
Bailey Benz,
Jenny Simensky, and
Morgan Maier each scored twice for LVC, with
Anna Pagels,
Tori Kuntz,
Emily Moatz, and
Allison McGinniss also getting in on the scoring.
Corrinne Palombo played the first half, making three saves and not allowing a goal.
Shelby Morris had a stop in the second half. Lauren Couch had five stops for Hood. LVC's transition defense was outstanding, holding Hood to 8-of-18 on clears, and Krechel and Boyce had three caused turnovers each.
The Dutchmen will visit Albright Wednesday night.
