Ice Hockey Wins In Continued Game at Drexel

Ice Hockey
Lebanon Valley 3, Drexel 0

PHILADELPHIA - In a game originally suspended for poor ice conditions, Lebanon Valley topped ECHA rivals Drexel, 3-0.

In the original game, LVC held a 1-0 lead thanks to a first-period goal by Klayton Garman off assists by Tyler Skroski and Wes Landsem. Drexel led 19-15 on shots at the time of the suspension, which came between the second and third periods when the malfunctioning Zamboni left a large groove in the ice.

Garmen scored a power play goal with just under five minutes to play in the completion game Thursday.

Defensively, Colin Catherman was a wall in net in the make-up game. The Dutchmen penalty kill came up huge on Drexel's lone power play for a great team effort.
