SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Early goals from Mandi Albright and Lauren Brumbach lifted Lebanon Valley past Swarthmore, 2-0, on Thursday.

The Dutchmen improved to 5-4 as they outshot the Garnet (6-4) by a 20-6 margin, including 12-3 in the first half.

Albright struck in the fourth minute, hitting from the top of the arc to give LVC the early lead. Brumbach followed in the 16th minute, lobbing a shot in to double the lead. Albright had a game-high eight shots.

Chloe Baro made three saves to earn her first career shutout, including a one-on-one stop of Erin Gluck. Gabriella Capone stopped eight shots. Penalty corners were an even 8-8.

LVC returns home Saturday to host #4 Messiah in the first-ever night game at Arnold Field at 6 p.m.
