ST. DAVIDS, Pa. – Lebanon Valley held a healthy 22-2 advantage in shots taken against Eastern Saturday but lost the match 1-0 on a goal by senior Amy Thomas.
 
LVC's 22 shots don't quite match the season-high 25 shots taken at home against Misericordia, but they certainly put the pressure on Eastern (3-4-1) goalie Alysia Goodman, who made nine saves.
 
Nicole Snyder led the Dutchmen (4-3) with eight shots on the day. Lindi Crist was nearly as aggressive with five shots of her own.
 
The match was tied until the 88^th minute, when Thomas hit from the left side across the goal. Sami Young played the entire game without a save. Eastern's second shot was struck wide.
 
The Dutchmen play at Haverford Wednesday at 4 p.m.
