EDWARDSVILLE, Pa. - Freshman Cam Alexander provided the scoring once again for LVC as the Dutchmen improved to 7-1 with a 1-0 win at Wilkes.

The Dutchmen extended their best-ever program start thanks to Alexander's 50th-minute strike, notching inside the upper right off Jake Herron's pass. The freshman, who is the reigning Commonwealth Conference and ECAC player of the week, leads LVC with five goals this season.

Lebanon Valley led 12-8 on shots and 3-2 on corners, led by Andrew Cooper's three shots. James Clements earned the clean sheet with four saves. Dave Marr kept the Colonels (3-3) in it with nine stops.

LVC returns home to host Misericordia on Wednesday.
