ANNVILLE, Pa. – Cam Alexander connected on a game-winning overtime goal off a corner from Stephen Simonian to get Lebanon Valley past Stevenson with a 3-2 win Wednesday.

Alexander's shocker was his second goal of the game. Down 1-0 in the first half, Alexander scored in the 12th minute on a pass in from Andrew Cooper. Alexander leads the team with seven total goals after notching his second two-score game of the season.

Octavio Romero scored his second goal of the season in the 14th minute to give LVC (8-2-1, 1-1) its first lead of the match at 2-1. Romero beat a defender through the box to poke the ball in.

Stevenson (5-7, 0-2) equalized in the second half on a 58th minute goal by senior Ryan Pierce. Pierce scored unassisted off a free kick.

For Alexander, his second goal was his third game winner of the season. The LVC record for game winners in a season is four. It's shared by three players, including Andy Suprock, who did it last season.

LVC narrowly led Stevenson in both shots, 17-16, and corner kicks, 4-2. James Clements made seven saves in goal and played every minute for his seventh win.

The Dutchmen play at Alvernia Saturday at 4 p.m.
