Lebanon Valley 1, Arcadia 3
GLENSIDE, Pa. – In its final game of the regular season, Lebanon Valley took a 3-1 loss at Arcadia. The loss means that LVC will play at Elizabethtown on Thursday as the third seed in the Commonwealth Conference playoffs – regardless of what E-town does tonight at Widener.
In Saturday's match, already down 2-0 to a pair of goals by Arcadia's Zach Todd,
Andrew Cooper got the Dutchmen (12-4-2, 5-3-1 CC) on the board in the 67
th minute with his fifth goal of the season.
Arcadia (9-7-2, 5-4) received insurance on an 85
th minute goal from Joe Bertucci and now will await the result of the E-town-Widener match to see whether they will play as the fourth or fifth seed in the playoffs.
As has been their way through much of the season, the Dutchmen were aggressive on the attack and led 17-7 in shots. Ryan Lantzy made seven saves for the Knights.
James Clements made two saves, playing the majority of the match in net for LVC, and
Brian Frasca made one in relief.
