FREDERICK, Md. – Lebanon Valley closed out its regular season schedule with a 3-0 sweep over Hood Thursday night.
Steph Klunk led the Dutchmen (18-13, 5-4 CC) with 11 kills on 32 attacks.
Alli Quirk followed with six kills, and
Emily Sides,
Kayla Confer, and
Ally Stengel each finished with five. Stengel finished with four service aces, and
Kacey Musselman aced three serves with four kills and 32 assists.
The Dutchmen hit .193 on the night, which was good enough to overcome Hood's .032 attack. Both teams committed 18 errors.
Hood (6-19, 0-9) finished the season without a conference win, but they played a tight third set. The Blazers led by as many as five points in the set and led as late as their 18
th point before allowing a 10-5 Dutchman rally.
LVC finished with 75 total digs in the match. Musselman finished with a team-high 15, and both Sides and
Jess Finlayson finished with 14 each.
Alli Quirk was strong at the line with four block solos and two block assists.
The Dutchmen close the season at Gallaudet this weekend with matches against the Scranton and the host team.
