ANNVILLE, Pa. – Jim Fisher scored Lebanon Valley's lone goal in a 4-1 loss to Messiah Saturday afternoon, chipping a ball over the goalkeeper's shoulder in the 68
th minute of a game in which the Dutchmen trailed by four.
Fisher took a cross from
Bradley Mehl and evaded Messiah keeper Jake Berry for the score. The goal was Fisher's first this season and second of his career.
Messiah (13-0-1, 5-0 CC) got first-half goals from Brian Ramirez, Mike Kovach, and Danny Rowe. Kovach came back around in the second half to add additional insurance with his second strike of the game.
The Falcons led the Dutchmen 25-5 in shots with 18 of 25 on goal.
James Clements made a season-high 14 saves in the effort but took the loss.
The Dutchmen play at Hood Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.
