Box Score
ANNVILLE, Pa. - Travis Miller's 98th-minute golden goal broke a scoreless tie and gave Lebanon Valley its sixth straight victory - and fourth overtime win of the season - 1-0 over Susquehanna at Herbert Field.
The Dutchmen (6-1) improved to 4-0 in overtime games thanks to Miller's finish to
Kevin Doty's cross with 2:49 remaining in the first extra period.
The LVC defense did its part all game long as
James Clements made four saves and aggressively grabbed cross after cross to improve to 6-0 this season with a shutout.
Susquehanna (3-4) outshot LVC 12-9 and held a 4-1 corners advantage, and arguably had the better scoring chances in regulation, including Patrick Fry's rising shot that had to be poked over the crossbar by Clements in the 48th minute.
Both teams had chances in overtime, but LVC's goal came on a counterattack as Doty crossed a ball through the box to a waiting Miller, who blasted a shot to the upper right corner off Zach Zoller's hand.
The Dutchmen will host Wilkes on Saturday.
