HARRISONBURG, Va. - Lebanon Valley found two second-half goals to break a 1-1 halftime tie and beat Eastern Mennonite, 3-1, Wednesday night to win its fourth game in a row.

Scheduled for a 7 p.m. start, the game didn't kick off until nearly 9 p.m. following lightning in the area, but that didn't stop the visitors from continuing their recent goal-scoring form as the Dutchmen (4-1) ripped off 16 shots in all.

Conner McAuliffe leveled the game at 1-1 in the first half, and Andy Suprock provided the 66th-minute go-ahead before Chris Hall tacked on an insurance goal - his fourth of the season - in the 75th minute.

EMU (2-4-1) started the game with Mitchell Leap's goal in the 10th minute, but LVC countered with McAuliffe's strike from Travis Miller in the 28th minute. The scored remained tied until Suprock caught goalkeeper Andrew Yoder on the wrong foot, converting Brendan Steele's cross, and Hall took a long pass from John Wagaman to make it 3-1.

James Clements made five saves to earn the win and improve to 4-0. Patrick Fox and Andrew Yoder split halves for EMU, each making a save and Yoder taking the loss.

LVC led 16-10 on shots and 2-1 on corners.

The Dutchmen return home for a three-game set, starting Saturday against Moravian on Kids' Day.
