Box Score

SELINSGROVE, Pa. - Lebanon Valley's offense awakened for 25 shots as four different goalscorers found the cage in a 4-1 win at Susquehanna Wednesday night, giving new coach Carol Miller her first win with the Dutchmen.

Jess Cox, Cate Cusack, Lauren Brumbach, and Caitlin Vasey all scored for the Dutchmen (1-3), who potted two goals in the first nine minutes and never looked back.

The LVC defense was equally good, holding the Crusaders (2-2) to just three shots.

Cusack converted Kelsey Miller's assist to get on the board in the sixth minute, and Cox followed from Bridget Monighan just over three minutes later to make it 2-0. Vasey's unassisted tally made it 3-0 at the half.

Susquehanna got one back in the 42nd minute thanks to Ally Bradley, but Brumbach notched her first career goal in the 44th minute to cap the 4-1 win.

Christine Poletti did not have to make a save to earn the win, while counterpart Erin Ferguson stopped nine shots. The Dutchmen led 25-3 on shots and 11-6 on corners.

LVC heads to upstate New York this weekend to take part in the William Smith Classic.
