LANCASTER, Pa. - #17 Elizabethtown went on a 10-0 run in the first half to build an insurmountable halftime lead on the way to a 19-4 win over Lebanon Valley on Tuesday in Middle Atlantic Conference women's lacrosse play.

Despite the loss, the Dutchmen (7-7, 6-5 MAC) are still in the thick of the MAC playoff hunt, and they will have a win-and-in game on Saturday at Manhattanville for a chance to earn their first-ever tournament berth. LVC and M'ville are tied for the sixth and final playoff spot with identical records after King's upset the Valients 12-11 on Tuesday.

E-town (13-3, 10-1 MAC) cemented its second seed with a dominating offensive performance, outshooting LVC 43-8, including 28-4 in the first half. Four Blue Jays recorded hat tricks as Sarah Cullinan netted four and Becky Porter, Katie Scheurich, and Samantha Redles had three each.

For Lebanon Valley, Hana Krechel scored three times, including twice from the arc, and Lindsey Buckman added LVC's first goal on a free-position shot.

COrinne Palombo took the loss with four saves; Erica Ameigh (4 saves) and Rachel Denny (2 saves) provided relief. Rachael Walman stopped two in the win for E-town.
