Jocelyn Novak's second straight hat trick and goals by
Jenni Walker and
Lauren Brumbach pushed Lebanon Valley past Arcadia, 5-1, in Commonwealth Conference play on Tuesday.
The Dutchmen (7-4, 1-1 CC) ripped off 11 shots in each half on the way to a 22-8 advantage over the Knights (2-10, 0-3 CC). Novak became only the fifth player in NCAA Division III to reach 250 points with her six-point day; she now has 251 on 118 goals and 15 assists.
Novak scored the only two goals of the first half, hitting in the 13th minute off
Jenni Walker's rebound before converting a turnaround slapper with two minutes to go to the break.
Brumbach opened the second half with a goal off
Nicole Vasiliu's assist, and Novak finished the hat trick - the 19th of her career - with a tap in from
Mandi Albright in the 51st minute. Walker finished the game off with a goal at the buzzer on Vasiliu's corner.
Christine Poletti made one save to earn the win; Sarah Baumgardner had seven saves and the Knights made a pair of defensive stops.
LVC will head to Albright on Saturday to continue their CC schedule.
