CHESTER, Pa. - The Lebanon Valley volleyball team lost 0-3 (14-25, 16-25, 23-25) at Widener in a game that would have clinched the second seed and a home playoff game in the Commonwealth Conference semifinals next week.
With the win, Widener (22-9, 6-1 CC) takes the second seed and will host third-seeded LVC (20-7, 5-2) on Wednesday.
Jamie Hawk had another outstanding game for the Dutchmen with 13 kills and a .458 hitting percentage.
Kellsie Groff followed with six kills but hit just .080.
The team hit just .121 collectively, including a .051 mark in the second set.
Angela Kuperavage led the defense with 12 digs. Hawk and
Sarah Godfrey each had a block solo.
The match was the last in-conference match for the Dutchmen, who face Scranton and Gallaudet at Scranton Saturday to close out the season. LVC plays at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
