CHESTER, Pa. – The Lebanon Valley men's soccer team (10-7, 3-3 CC) looked to duplicate the success that the women's team found earlier in the evening in a night game at Widener (3-11-2, 0-5). They left Chester with a 2-1 win.
 
Chris Hall scored his sixth goal of the season in the 17^th minute. Hall is now three goals from Grant Walter's career record of 32 goals. He had three shots on the night, including a blocked shot in the 88^th minute.
 
With the game tied 1-1, Andrew Cooper scored in the 54^th minute to give the Dutchmen a 2-1 edge.
 
James Clements had to make just one save to earn the win. He improves to 10-6.
 
Coming into the day, the Dutchmen sat in fifth in the Commonwealth Conference. Saturday's win and a wins in the final game of the season would greatly improve the chances of LVC making a postseason appearance.
 
LVC plays at King's Wednesday at 7 p.m. They close the season with a conference game against Lycoming Saturday at 3 p.m.
