READING, Pa. – Andy Suprock has done it again, netting his fourth game-winning goal of the season in a 3-2 Lebanon Valley (9-5, 2-1 CC) victory at Albright (5-7, 0-3) Tuesday night.
Suprock's goal came in the 67th minute of the game, reinforcing earlier goals by
Andrew Cooper and
Kelly Hess. He has five total goals this season—second best total on the team. All of his goals have come off the bench.
Hess was the first to score in the eleventh minute of the game off a pass from Cooper. The goal was his third of the season.
Cooper followed up 14:45 into the period to give the Dutchmen a 2-0 lead. The goal was his third of the season. Combined with the earlier assist, Cooper now has eight points on the season—tied for the third highest total on the team.
The Lions kept the game close with two scores from Vitali Zaluha. Zaluha's first goal came off a corner kick in the 57th minute to tie the game to make it 2-1 before Suprock's goal.
He followed up with a penalty kick goal in the 69
th minute to make it 3-2. He has six goals on the season for the Lions.
Conner McAuliffe earned his second assist of the season on Suprock's goal.
James Clements earned the win in goal to improve to 9-4. He played 81:45 and made three saves.
